You can evaluate the newest PIXSY-Home 4 software by downloading the full version from this page. The Trial version includes any type of Photo-products: Prints, Posters, Collage, Canvas, Gifts, Calendars, Photo-Books etc. The product templates included in this evaluation version are just examples that have been made to illustrate the different possibilities available within PIXSY-Home. Any other different type of product template can be designed and implemented. Obviously, the complexity of the Tempates have implicit impact in the ordering workflow. For eaxmple, a Photo-Book template desgined only for images fill-in is much simpler to order than a book where the customer can freely play with back-grounds, frames, texts, colours, etc.

HOW TO INSTALL ON WINDOWS 2000, XP and 7

The installation of PIXSY-Home is fully automatic: the only information to enter is about the language and the directory where to install. Currently only English and Italian are available.

2. At the message request whether to OPEN the file or SAVE it, select OPEN.
3. The downloaded file is about 70 Mb.
4. During installation, you are asked to select a language and a directory where to install.
5. At the end of installation, PIXSY-Home will automatically start-up and connect to the ALIMPIX server to check for updates.
6. At the very first start only, PIXSY-Home will also check all templates images and will scale them down to a lower resolution, for faster ordering operations.
7. You are now ready to play with PIXSY-Home and place some orders.

HOW TO INSTALL ON WINDOWS Vista

1. Click here to download the trial version.

   

2. DO NOT OPEN the file, but just SAVE it on your Desktop. This file is about 70 Mb.
3. After the file has been downloaded and saved in your desktop, select this file and then, by clicking the right button of the mouse, select to Run it as Administrator.
4. During the installation, you are asked to select a language and a directory where to install.
5. At the end of installationd, PIXSY-Home  will automatically start-up and connect to the ALIMPIX server to check for updates.
6. At the very first start only PIXSY-Home will also check all templates images and will scale them down to a lower resolution, for faster ordering operations.
7. You are now ready to play with PIXSY-Home and place some orders.

WHAT TO SEE OF THE TRIAL

1. Prints: ordering prints is a very simple process that drives you through a Wizard; the Wizard can be abandoned at any point by clicking the Cancel button and then you can continue manually, selecting images, one after the other, and assgning a Print size to each image.
2. Photo-Books in few seconds: select book 20x20 or A4 Landscape, Multicolor template, and see how easy and quick is to create the book, just few steps: a) select images, b) confirm orientation and sequencing c) click the Finish button  and d) click the button Add to Cart .
3. Photo-Books manual editing: select book 20x20 or A4 Landscape, White template; exit from the Wizard by clicking the Cancel button and then continue, manually, by selecting images, applying backgrounds, frames and page layouts.
4. Calendars generation: PIXSY-Home can generate calendars of any year without any need of yearly updates; calendars can also be generated on gifts: see Mugs and Mousepads samples.
5. Multi-products shopping cart: any combination and any number of items can be ordered within the same order.
6. Order transmission: for your test, you can go through the entire order cycle, inclusive of final ordering confirmation and transmission, as the order is sent to a demo site on the Alimpix Server.
